Interesting comment by Jeremy that MSU might have delayed too long in getting Kelly an offer.

I think Pollard made a decision and got into negotiations with Kelly. And then said....Deal or No Deal?.....You have a decision to make. If you don't take it, we will move on and you can take your chances that you MIGHT get the MSU job (which has a history of dumping their coaches every few years, while ISU will keep around a coach with a losing record for 12 years).

I think Pollard outmaneuvered MSU on this one.
