with the hiring of chizik, mcdermott, and sanderson which was kinda given, we all know now that no matter how bad our program could be Pollard is going to get one of the best into the program as the head coach to move us up to national contenders. I am so surprised by who he has gotten as coaches. van de velde wouldn't have done crap in hiring good coaches.
