Iowa State Men's Basketball Finalizes Dates Against Iowa, Drake and Northern Iowa
Iowa State-Drake game moved to Sunday Dec. 3.

AMES, Iowa - Iowa State University continues its in-state men's basketball series' against Iowa, Drake and Northern Iowa in the 2006-07 season.

Iowa State plays at Northern Iowa in ISU head coach Greg McDermott's return to Cedar Falls on Nov. 29. McDermott, who is in his first season with the Cyclones, coached at UNI the last five seasons, leading the Panthers to three consecutive NCAA Tournament appearances.

The Cyclones will play host to Drake on Sunday, Dec. 3. It will be the 166th meeting between the two teams in a series that began in 1908.

Iowa State and Iowa will battle in Iowa City on Dec. 8 as part of the annual Hy-Vee Cy-Hawk Series. In the last 24 meetings between the two schools, the series is dead even at 12-12.

Any word on the date for the Ohio State game yet? My brother in law lives in Ohio and might make a road trip if the date works out.
