Quick tidbits to start the day...

1- The new designs for the basketball jerseys have been sent to production. The final design is said to be similar to the existing jerseys but different enough to help the overall look. I hope to have a picture of the new design up sometime this week.

2- ISU is wrapping up a few final details on the Men's Basketball schedule for the coming season. It is expected that the final schedule will have a nice assortment of winnable and respectable games. Over the next few seasons, ISU will see consistently tougher opponents as the team and program rebounds.

3- Several of the new MBB recruits are expected to be on campus as early as today. All of the recruits are expected by the end of next week and will immediately start preparing for the upcoming season.

I am VERY interested to see a picture of the new uniforms - but I'm hoping when you say "similiar to existing jerseys" you mean not very similiar at all! The fabric/material was the cheesiest Nike uses and I've never seen anyone screw up our colors as much as they did on those uni's, using bright red, bright YELLOW, and a navy accent that looked too blue. What was up with the side panels? Giant blocks of color? Dang the more I think about them the more I hate them. The new design needs to be classier and of a higher quality (and able to be tucked in! Thin layered crappy mesh is hard to tuck in - no wonder Jiri etc. had to tuck their tops into their Under Armour . Since they've already ordered them I'm keeping my fingers crossed!

I agree 100% Cloned4Life. Hopefully they go with the Jordan line of Nike team Unis. Those are the ones with the best materials and designs. Most of all, please no blue anywhere.

If what I've heard is correct, the jerseys will be the same but with a different design. The actual material of the jersey appears to have not changed.
