Board Of Directors
I have created a "Board of Directors" for the site. The few people on this "Board" are those that I personally know and trust to help decide what will happen to CycloneFanatic in the future. It is with these people that I will share the inner-workings and high-level ideas of future features or plans that will affect the site in some way or another. I find it best to run the site with as much feedback and openness as possible and this will help make sure the end-users have complete say in what happens at all times.

Cyclone FanAddict Club - First Outing Dec 8th.
A couple of weeks ago we announced the new Cyclone FanAddict Club and the first club outing. In case you missed it, there will be another announcement regarding the first event in the coming days with all the details. A refresher in the meantime; The first outing will be an evening "game watch" at Victor's (5th & Douglas in Urbandale) for the Iowa State vs Iowa Men's Basketball game on Friday, December 8th. In general, the club will meet periodically to do fun and wacky things. Whether it's just getting together to watch games or to have a night on the town, we'll try and cover it all. Look for more information on the FanAddict club and it's committee in the coming days.

CF Shirts - "Standard" & "Made To Order"
I have placed the initial order of CycloneFanatic t-shirts (red, gold and white shirt color options). I will be posting more details on how to order and what options are available in the coming days. We will have the shirts on hand for purchase at the first club outing on Dec 8th as well as on the site as we did for the CardinalRules shirts. A new option that we hadn't originally planned, is to allow members to have their name or screen-name on the shirt for a small additional fee (cost only of course). Look for more information in the coming days.

CelebriDucks - Cyclone Rubber-Duckies
I had posted something a couple of months ago about Cyclone Rubber-Duckies. Well, I got in touch with the manufacturer and have arranged a great price for all of you so we can get as many people to give these out for the Holidays as possible. I hope to have these available on the 8th but I haven't finalized all of the details just yet. Look for more information on these in the coming days.

Site Traffic & New Server
The new server has been an outstanding success thus far. I have my fingers crossed but I'm looking forward to being able to introduce more features and enhancements without slowing down or otherwise adversely affecting the site's performance. Over the past week we have reached incredible traffic highs. I'm still looking through the numbers but so far I've noticed we've been seeing an increase in daily visits of around 150%, up from the typical 15-20% increase we see most days.

Anyone else stuck up in eastern iowa thinking we need to rally the troops & have a get together? Got back from the game and wasnt too impressed by the team but i know well get better.

Hey Dog, keep me up to speed on this. Janesville I'm busy on the 8th, but there will be other games. Yeah, game tonite wasn't thrilling.

UNI will beat everyone in Iowa this year - they are more organized.

To the Board of Directors: What about adding 'ISU Wrestling' to the Home Forum List?

I think adding wresting would be a good idea. While it may not be a section with a lot of activity, I could see it being a good addition.

Absolutely, I think we would all agree on this, but lets see what the other members think and move with it. I shouldn't see it being a problem in any way.
