Bolt doesn't look too bad to me, kind of looks like there were some problems at UAB and they felt some changes needed to be made to keep people happy and he got the business end of that. I like what I see out of him before the UAB stop. I agree that the DC pick is not as big as the choice for OC because of Chiziks backround. I like the McFarland hire, someone with head coaching experience on the staff is a good thing with a younger head coach and he appears to be a good offensive mind and I'm sure he knows Texas and Florida pretty well like GC.

he did a good job at Troy State, he has some talent, what kind of talent, we shall see, it will be interesting to see what these guys can do, I am interested in seeing what else Chizik can do with assistant coaches!!

I dont see Chizik having any problem with cutting assistants loose if he felt they werent pulling their weight. So even if something doesnt pan out he will go elsewhere.

Was Bolt at Troy when Demarcus Ware was there he turned out to be a very good player.

This info is dated, but, this is probably the results that we want -
