Cyclone Notables - 6/19/06

I wanted to start having a way to let everybody know about some of the smaller news or Cyclone related things going on, so I am starting the 'Cyclone Notables'. These will just be notes about what is going on in the Cyclone community or smaller pieces of information that don't warrant their own topic. The Cyclone Notables will not be replacing the Roundups that many of you will remember from this spring. I will bring those back when there is enough to talk about to warrant them, think of this as the summer version minus the rumors:)
- ISU Football Coach Dan McCarney will be on the Jon Miller show at 3:00pm.
- CN's Chris Williams will be on the Marty & Miller show at 4:30pm.
- Iowa State's board of regents meet this week to discuss the proposed "Master Plan" that Jamie Pollard has created. Among the proposals are suites at both Hilton and Jack Trice, 'bowling-in' the South end-zone of Jack Trice, a new practice facility for basketball and volleyball, and many other exciting additions/modifications.
- Coach McCarney is Iowa's latest Millionaire. McCarney has been given a raise that brings his annual salary to $1.1 million.
