I have removed the requirement that you be registered and logged in to the site in order to be able to read the content. Now that we have a very active community going, I think it is appropriate to remove these requirements for the foreseeable future.
With the above requirements being removed, I have added a warning message to the top of the screen that appears when you are not logged in. This will help remind people to register and login but also notes that it is not required to simply read the site.
