Or...you know....we could wear Cardinal and make it seem less like Homecoming week in high school. I can't say I'm a huge fan of the idea of dressing up in 70s clothes for a football game.

Yeah, I meant cardinal clothing more than 70's style disco stuff:) You wouldn't catch me dead in that stuff (if you do, please tell the authorities). I would assume there will be some sort of organized effort to have people wear cardinal of some sort, possibly like they did for the two games last year.

Conspiracy! I smell it; this is a ploy to bring Tailgate Clothing back to the forefront of ISU apparel. That worn retro look, its coming back baby and ISU is helping so the foundation can reap the benefits of licensing.

I was talking to Jon Miller at a bar last summer. Im not sure how drunk he was, but he did say that he talked to someone in the ISU athletic department and he was told that we were going to wear the Beat Iowa Jerseys.
I personally don't like the idea bc then we have to hear from all the IA fans that all we care about is the hawks and yada yada.

God ... I hope they don't use the Jerseys from the series first renewal first game ... those said 'Beat Iowa'. That didn't work out so well for us then.

Yeah, I love the idea of 70's throwback, but those "Beat Iowa" jesrseys would be really stupid, it almost seems childish for the team to do it. I love fans wearing Beat Iowa apparell, but on the field it needs to be ISU.
