ooo...nice wins for Gallick

Green hills for thy throne, and for crown a golden melody
Ringing in the hearts of all who bring thee love and loyalty
Dear Alma Mater, make our spirits great
True and valiant like the bells of I-O-WA STATE!

Fanthorpe is disappointing. Don't recall how one would have anticpated the Luedke, Turner match...

It does hurt, but it gives an opportunity to beat some guys in the consolations (and score bonus points). Of course he will have to wrestle a lot of matches to get into the top 8. If he is in good shape, imagine how the other hwts can get gassed.

doesnt look like that link was working so here is a link to the site..

great now neither is working..

Iowa State: Anyone who's a true college basketball fan needs to see a game at Hilton Coliseum. Nice is in the DNA of Iowans and the fans here are particularly gracious -- even when the home team loses but gives a great effort, they are appreciative.

ESPN.com picked Hilton Coliseum as the "Hot Arena" in the Big 12...coaches in the league noted that, "regardless of talent, the Cyclones have a home court like no other."

Ok I don't know much about points and wrestling meets, so I'll just ask what it is going to take from this point to be national champions. thanks!

2 things need to happen. We need all seeded wrestlers to wrestle to their seeds. We need Minny and Mizzou to drop a couple matches they "should't." We also need our unseeded wrestlers to place.

Save us tonight, the last hope for all of us,
Light-years gone by, we're still holding on,
Save us tonight, a star shines in all of us,
Far beyond our lives, still our glory lives on.

I doubt it. We won't have enough other wrestling doing good compared to Minnesota. We could get 3 Individual Champions, but might not win the national championship

Unless we have a some surpising Saturday results I don't see us winning....top 3 could be a struggle if we have any more seeded losses

We need outside help to win. Minny upsets/losses and even wins without bonus points, helps us more than what they have been doing.
