As many of you will have noticed, I have put in place an award system on the site. With the new award system, I'll be setting up contests and awards for different activities and achievements on the site.
To help get things started, I have assigned the below awards to members for the 2006 year. Ongoing, these types of things will be voted on and members will be able to nominate who they think is most deserving, except for the awards having to do with quantities and levels of helping, etc.
2006 Poster of the Year - ISUFan22
2006 Contributor of the Year - CrossCyed
2006 Sponsor of the Year - thunderdave
2006 Donor of the Year - Go2Guy
2006 Graphic Artist of the Year - Nedrick
2006 Helper of the Year - guitarchitect7
2006 Moderator of the Year - Angie
2006 Fanatic of the Year - BryceC
Even though I had to pick one individual for the above awards, far more are deserving of recognition for everything they've contributed. I especially want to thank all the moderators for putting up with everything they've had to when they're dedicating their spare time to help the site. It's not always a glamorous job and I thank all of you with everything I've got.
Thank you everybody for helping make CF the biggest and best Cyclone community.

A program isn't built on one player and it doesn't succeed because of one player, thus a program won't fail if it doesn't get that one player. |

Just so many people to thank. First and foremost, my parents. If it wasn't for them I wouldn't be here. Second my family, they keep me ticking everyday. Um and.....Doh, I knew I should have made a list! There seems to be one person I'm leaving out........
My cat? NO.
Family? Did that!
Almost got it,........OH, Jeremy. I would like to thank Jeremy! | "You must try to generate happiness within yourself. If you aren't happy in one place, chances are you won't be happy anyplace." -- Ernie Banks THERE IS A CURSE; STUPID GOAT! |

You're not going to do what seemingly every athlete and celeb does and thank God?
I swear that is one of the most over-used phrases in acceptance speeches. I'm a Christian and I don't think there is anything wrong with it but it's so over-used things because I wonder just how "holy" some of these people are that use that saying and if they really mean it.

You mean like when a rapper says, "I just want to thank the Lord, Jesus Christ, Jehovah, Almighty for blessing me and also for the success my new hit single, "I *ucked yo sista, I *ucked yo cat, I didn't *uck yo mom cause that *itch is too fat"
I really hate it when artists do that. Give glory to God for " His" blessing on something that really is pretty dispicable.
P.S.... "I *ucked yo sista, I *ucked yo cat, I didn't *uck yo mom cause that *itch is too fat" is from CB4. Who else thinks that movie is delightful?

not hating on GuitarArc, but "helper of the year" kinda sounds like an award more suitable for a kindergarden class.
He deserves better, like:

What I don't get is some of my female friends get offensive when someone talks rudely to them but they have no problem listening and singing along to rap and hip hop songs that are degrading to women.
We even had a whole big arguement on a road trip once about how if any of us guys said "*itch get in the car" like one of the songs they listened to says that they'd probably give us a dirty look or even slap us.

"Avatar most likely to make you stop and ponder what it is - 2006" I hope that's not a knock on helpers in elementary classes. Without my "helpers" doing my easy, busy work throughout the day, I'd never get home in time to watch my favorite TV shows and play warcraft til 3am
I will agree on the cool avatar also.

Edit:That is a good idea though; and award for best avatar! Good thinking. Rep for you.
