Decide the future features of CF.

Since all of you have put up with the moving of systems until I finally found the perfect one for our site, I want to give you an opportunity to decide what feature(s) I introduce next. I know it has been a real hassle moving systems and reactivating your accounts but I really feel it will be worth it in the end.

Please vote in the poll attached to this topic with what feature you would most like to see first. If you have additional requests, please post them in this thread.

Choices:

Chat system - no plugins or special apps required on your end:)
File repository - ISU stats and documents.
Trivia system - ISU athletic trivia w/ point system.
Live sports scores - self explanatory.
Countdown clocks in signatures (see my signature on replies to topics).
Countdown clock site wide - countdown to next event.
CyStats© system - a cool feature I'm working on where we set the rankings of possible recruits, etc.

is it possible to feature hourly news items on Rosario Dawson? I fervently need up-to-date information on my future wife..since I cannot watch "entertainment tonight" at work.

My vote would be for a file repository

I would like a central location to find Cyclone documents, stats and media. In particular, a place for users to browse for photos, videos, and other forms of media if the system is capable of handling larger files.

Users could upload media similar to a youtube or photobucket system. I am sure some CF users have some unique and special Cyclone photos and videos that would like to share with the community. I know I have a lot of neat pictures I have taken at football and basketball games during the past years that I would like to share and others might like to see.

I know I spent hours looking for Cyclone highlight photos and videos in the past (Seneca's run and Fizer's dunk to name a few), and typically if I find anything it isn't very good quality. Many people take pictures during the games but only can share the pictures with friends and family, and unless they have a online web page, have no way of sharing those photos with the rest of the Cyclone community.

This way, CF users could share those special Cyclone moments with the entire community. This would be a "one-stop" location for media rather than multiple files disorganized across hundreds of web pages.

Like they say a picture (or video) is worth a thousand words!

My ordering or preferance:

High:
Countdown clock site wide - (with maybe an option of checking a box by a calendar item to make that the item that shows up on the countdown for each individual user (or a default one is fine)

Live Sports Scores

CyStats© system

File repository - ISU stats and documents.

Medium:
Trivia system - ISU athletic trivia w/ point system.

Low:
Countdown clocks in signatures (see my signature on replies to topics).

I voted for the repository.... file repository to be clear.

I would love to see live scoring and the CyStats sounds cool (copyrighted i see....).

1st choice for out of state Clones has to be the chat feature. We've used chat (on another un-named board) numerous times during bb games to relay what is going on during the game. I personally love that feature and it seems to strengthen the sense of community among board members.

Yes, I'm going to try and do them all in the order voted but I may add some additional features as well. I like to try new things technically so I have a test forum setup on the side so I can develop these new features as fast as possible while also making sure it doesn't adversely affect this live site:)
