Help needed for CF Football Feature
Jeremy
I am looking for a person(s) that has good writing abilities to create a somewhat in-depth analysis of each of our football games for the coming season. One person doesn't have to do all of the write-ups but I would like to get this setup so we can start having them posted to the site between now and the Toledo kickoff. I would also like to post the write-ups in order of the games.
Please respond back to this thread if you're interested, and if so, what game(s) you can do a write-up for. I would like to keep all of the talk regarding this in this thread so everybody can monitor what games are outstanding. I have listed the games below and will mark them off as people commit to them.

I would like to tackle the KState game. They are my second favorite BigXII school. One thing that could be of great resource is past press releases for the games. Cyclones.com used to have that stuff, but it seems since their change many things are lost, mis-placed or not up and running.
So if anyone knows of a place to find that sort of stuff, it would be much appreciated.

I can take the Nebraska game. Witnessed the ISU-NU game first hand last fall and I'd like to make a detailed case as to why we won't fall short in '06.

I will take the Texas game unless someone else has a specific interest in it. My buddy is a die hard Longhorns fan so I tend to follow them a little more then other Big 12 schools.

I'll do any games nobody else wants to do. I'll just get started on some games like Toledo and UNLV, because I doubt there is a huge desire for either of those games. I'm still in the process of moving but I'll get on stuff like this as soon as possible.

Thanks for helping out BryceC. I figured the lesser known teams would be hard to find people for:)

Jeremy....How soon do you want these write-up's completed and sent to you? Are you wanting them done before the season starts? Or are you wanting the writers of the pieces to incorporate stats and information on how the opposing teams are performing up to ISU game week?

For what it's worth, I've got the first two games previewed on my blog.

I'll take the Iowa game. I'm surprised that no one has taken it already.

I think the Iowa game is the hardest of all just because of the tradition of it. It's a hard game to predict as has been well evident over the past 8 years :)

Ill take the Colorado game, a couple of good friends of mine moved over there and we use to have some debates on whos better between the school. I think they will be able to help me out with the preview.

Note: CrossCyed has done two excellent previews already, as he said in this site. I doubt Jeremy will mind too much if we talk about his site, because he is a moderator after all.
Really though, excellent reads.

I just took the time to read those and they are great write-ups! That's solid reporting CrossCyed

Do you want them written in any certain format Jeremy? For example, do you want position-by-position breakdowns, or offense vs defense for both teams, or something like that??? Do you wnat injury reports and pre-game quotes? Anything like that???
