I would like to announce the CycloneFanatic logo contest. While the logo currently in place has served it's purpose well over the past six months, it's time for a completely new look that better fits the current style of the site.

The rules are simple and will be spelled out below. Please make sure to follow the rules, and most importantly, to be creative!

Logo entries will be accepted from now through Aug 1st.
Voting for entries will be from Aug 2nd - Aug 5th.
The top three entries will then be up for a 2nd vote from Aug 6th - Aug 9th.

All entries must meet the following requirements:

Logo must be unique and original.
Logo must be tasteful and appropriate.
Logo must be free to use on the site and for site-related purposes.
Logo must be able to be used on merchandise (hats, shirts, etc).

Actual logo size, colors, etc:

Main part of logo must be no taller than 124 pixels and no wider than 292 pixels.
You can have a bar or other repeated design that can be wider and scale to the right if need be.
You must use the attached image as a background for your design.
Final logo must be provided in transparent PSD format without the background included.

All entries can be submitted to webmaster@cyclonefanatic.com.

I wanted to move this back to the top to remind everybody that logo submissions will be accepted until Monday evening. Please create something creative and don't be affraid of criticism as entries will not be credited to their respective owner until the voting is over (you can stay anonymous for ever if you like).
