I just bought a Wii and Mario Kart yesterday - I'm still in the process of getting online but when I do I'll list my Kart code on here. I am loving the Wii wheel right now. It takes some getting used to but I really like it.

It took me awhile to get on board with the online play (I still think it's dumb that you have to use different codes than just the regular friend code) but here's my number: 5198 2820 8531. I'll add everyone listed in this thread shortly.
How exactly does playing with friends work? Do you just join up like a normal WFC game but your friends are automatically included, and then the balance of 12 racers is picked by random like normal?
