Racing Games

Does anyone have any good racing games they can recommend? I've finished Excite Truck and I need something to hold me over until Mario Kart. I bought Kawasaki Jet Ski racing at Best Buy for $20 on Sunday, but that game sucks. I'm going to take it to Gamestop tonight and see if I can get them to give me even a nickel for it, and pick up a (hopefully) used racing game. I'm looking at either Nitrobike or MX vs ATV. I'm also considering either Cruisin' or one from the Need For Speed series. Anyone have any thoughts on these games or other racing games? Thanks.

Oh... people will come Mr. Pollard. People will most definitely come.

No, I don't live in Seattle anymore, I'm back in Des Moines but I don't feel like changing my username.

Re: Racing Games

I saw that Crusin' USA was available on Virtual Console... I have to get some Wii points though.

I'm a fan of Burnout.

And while it's not exactly a racing game, Flatout cracks my **** up...

Is that similar to the Gamecube version of Burnout, but with Wii controls? I enjoyed the Gamecube version that a friend had.

For now I ended up getting Nitrobike because it seemed most similar to the style of Excitetruck, and it was one of the cheaper games at the store. I may look into Burnout sometime too though, either that or one of the Need For Speed titles.
