Anyone else going to be picking up gt5 prologue on Thursday. My wife ordered it for my birthday so it should be here on Thursday. I've always loved the GT series.

Just picked it up yesterday. Only six tracks and 70 or so cars but the graphics and game play are awesome. Cannot wait for the full GT5. | |

Mine has been shipped yet but I know that you can change the view. Here is what I found.
Change controller settings. There is in option called Left/right view. I've put that on my right analog stick left/right... works with shifting on to same anlog great!

Dude, I'm sittin' in the cockpit/drivers seat of my car all the time. Press your "select" button to change the view from "10 feet behind" to "looking at just the front end" or to "just lookin' at whats in front of you" (my preference).

Hitting select works. I got it last night in the mail and played it for a couple of hours. Love everything about it. Now I just need to get all my license.

Do we have anyone that can compare it to Forza2? Not just graphics, but the physics too?
And do we know if GT5 will have force feedback when the PS3 gets the Rumble Controllers?

I bit the bullet and downloaded Prologue. It is as excellent as I have come to expect these games to be. It's even better with the DF Pro wheel. Very precise control.

I'd be interested in how it compares to Forza as well. Is it really that good, or is it more "OMG ITS GRAN TURISMO!!!!".
Also, why is it "Prologue"? Is it like a demo or something?

It has 71 cars, online playing, 6 tracks, excellent graphics and sounds, 2 player mode, arcade mode, etc. Some Microsoft fanboys like to say things like "I can't believe you paid $40 for a demo". These are the same people who have never played the game. From everything I've read about Forza 2, it's a great game with a lot more content that Proluge. If I owned both a 360 and a PS3 than I would probably just buy both of them.
It's well worth the $40 if you're a fan of the GT series. If you like arcade type racing than this is probably not for you.

it doesnt take very much to beat, but it is very realistic and can actually be difficult.
