Charging station

I'm tired of replacing batteries. Which charging station do you use/recommend?

Re: Charging station

The only one I've ever seen is the one I have, by Nyko. I think it was $25 at Target or Gamestop. Its pretty handy to have, batteries seem to last quite awhile (I only play about 5-6 hours a week) and it takes a couple hours to fully charge.

Oh... people will come Mr. Pollard. People will most definitely come.

No, I don't live in Seattle anymore, I'm back in Des Moines but I don't feel like changing my username.

I use standard rechargeable batteries. It was working out well until I decided to put those rubber skin things on. Those are a pain in the @$& to get off.

Ditto from me.

Ditto for me also, I have the nyko packs. Works pretty well actually. Good investment for $25.

Re: Charging station

One thing I read in the Amazon reviews is that with the battery cover that the charging station requires installed the remote won't fit in things like the steering wheel and zapper. Is this true? Is it true for the Guitar Hero controller?

It does not fit in the zapper, but you just have to take the cover off to put it in the zapper. It's no big deal, it's not like the battery is going anywhere. I imagine the same will be true with the wheel.
