Any one planning on getting GTA IV tomorrow (or tonight)? Does anyone know if Walmart or other 24-hour stores start selling them at midnight? I can't wait for it and would love to play it tonight!!

Oh yes, I'm getting it tomorrow. I would imagine that WalMart will do a midnight sale, but I'm not THAT anxious.

Pretty sad when folks around the world will rush out at midnight for a gaming system.
Oh well..guess I'm getting old.

Do you think the game will be sold out at Wal Mart, Best Buy, etc.. for the first couple days/weeks?

I have had to wait for all the GTA's to come out with the PC versions. I am a huge fan of all the GTA's, and will be patiently waiting for the PC version to come out.

I read an article the other day in Variety about how they expect it to surpass Pirates of the Caribbean's film benchmark for money made in a week. They are expecting on grossing more than $600 Million in the first week topping Pirates film haul of $400 Million. Here's an article I found discussing it. If all this is true, I think it'll be tough to find a copy. Game on: Grand Theft sales threaten Hollywood | Technology | The Guardian | "If you can't hear me, it's because I'm in parentheses." |

Wish I had the money for a PS3 or 360... but I guess I'll go back to Mario Kart Wii... | Deep within the heart of Iowa, a storm is brewing...

I just picked this up today for PS3, I'm anxious to try it out. I've never really played the GTA series, but this sounds like an incredible game from the reviews, I couldn't pass it up.

See my post in the Mario Kart thread for my feelings about Amazon's free super saver shipping.

Anyone who still thinks that the PS3 is lacking good games is crazy. Between COD4 (which I've only had for a few weeks), GT5 Prologue and GTA IV I don't have enough time in the day. Granted two of those games are available on the 360, but (Prologue + BluRay) > anything the 360 can muster as far as I'm concerned.
