I see there is a new peripheral coming out. Looks like Raving Rabbids will take advantage of it in some capacity. IGN: The Rabbids Get in Shape
Looks like a new WiiWare game could be fun as well. http://wii.ign.com/articles/869/869222p1.html | Harriet Michaels: Do you actually like haggis? Charlie Mackenzie: No, I think it's repellent in every way. In fact, I think most Scottish cuisine is based on a dare.

I do plan to check it out sooner or later and download a few classic NES games.

Wii Fit I saw in a Wal-Mart flyer will be out around the 19th. If you order online, you get a $10 gift card for Walmart.com. The price was listed at $89, so you better be serious about losing some weight to cover your cost!

Has anyone gotten this yet? My wife is interested in getting, but I am looking for a first hand review.

Does anyone know where I can find that offer that I can submit to get the Wii grips that now come with the system. I tried searching here as I know we talked about it, but that did no good.
I did find the link for the strap, but not the grip things. Are there any other rebate type things out there?

I've been watching the WiiFit videos, it actually looks pretty cool, maybe I will pick one up today.

Thanks for the link.
It was only time the Wii Fit was introduced. But I would imagine that part of it is just watching a video and doing the actions, no different than those workout videos.

looks like it'll be fun on the balance board. I pre-ordered my Fit through Amazon, but I guess it won't get here until the 27th or so.

Am I the only one that doesn't want to work out when I play video games? If I wanted exercise I'd be outside! |
And I, Bruno, will dive 1,000 feet into a block of cement. On my head, yet!

If I wanted exercise I'd be outside! I agree with you somewhat, I will probably wait until late fall to buy Wii Fit. I was going to get it right away but decided to continue walking and running outside this summer while the weather is nice. Once November hits, I will be looking for a fun alternative to riding the exercise bike at our fitness center at work. The skiing game looks really fun, and hopefully by this fall there will be more games available that utilize the balance board.
