(Open) CF Mafia Game #1 - INNOCENTS WIN!

Here are a few more ground rules:

1. NO OUTSIDE COMMUNICATION OF ANY KIND IS ALLOWED BY ANY PLAYER.
2. Once you are dead, you may not post in this thread. If you are not in the game, you should also not post your theories in this thread.
3. You are not allowed to edit posts, once they are submitted. Anyone found editing entries in this thread will need to provide very convincing reasons why they should not be eliminated from the game.
4. When it is daytime, you should indicate who you want to lynch very clearly. You MUST use the following syntax Vote to eliminate PlayerX in bold, so that I can easily determine what the votes are.
5. During the evening, you must be quiet. I will be locking the thread, but in the event I cannot, don't post. Anyone found to be posting in what is clearly a night window is liable to be severely punished and/or eliminated from the game.
6. No posting of any PM message you should receive from me. Ever.
7. If you do not vote for two consecutive days, you may die of "natural causes"
8. No proxy voting will be allowed in this game.

Here are a list of the current players (in order of signup):

There are 12 players:

7 are plain innocents. Their goal is to root out the mafia members.
1 is an innocent and is also the Detective. The detective can investigate one person per night and I will make their status in the game known to that person.
1 is an innocent and is also the Doctor. The doctor can protect one players each night. If that player is voted to be killed by the mafia and has doctor protection, they will not die in the game.
3 are mafia members. Their goal is to eliminate the innocents. Only mafia members may discuss the game via PM.

This list will be updated as the game goes on and will reflect who is still alive and who is dead and how they died.

All players will be receiving one of the following PMs from me indicating their role in the game. All roles will be assigned completely at random.

You are a member of the mafia. Your goal is to completely dominate CF by eliminating and tricking the innocents until they no longer outnumber you.

You will be allowed to discuss strategy and who to eliminate each night via PM with the other mafia members.

You may begin plotting your first target immediately. Good luck

You are the innocent Detective. During each evening you may select any one person to investigate and if you survive the night I will tell you what their role is. You may send me your PM at any time during the day or night, but I must receive it by the beginning of the next morning or you will investigate no one. Obviously, it is better if you can wait until night so that you can make the smartest decision.

You are the innocent Doctor. During each evening you may select one person to protect and that person will not die if they are the target of the mafia attack. You may protect yourself if you wish. You may send me your PM at any time during the day or night, but I must receive it by the beginning of the next morning or you will protect no one. Obviously, it is better if you can wait until night so that you can make the smartest decision.

You are an Innocent. You are trying to root out the mafia from your midst and live out a peaceful life free of crime and danger. Good luck to you.

Dawn breaks in CF Land as 12 residents begin milling about. Rumor has it that 3 residents have turned to the mafia and have a desire to rule the town. It is the innocents’ job to weed out these mafia members and restore order to their land. Or will the mafia rule?

Day 1 will end at 6:00pm central time today. The residents may eliminate a member by a majority vote. 7 votes are needed to eliminate someone. No votes will be counted after 6:00.
