I've said it before and I'll say it this game, too - I'm an innocent player!

Last game I was mafia and I was always not trying to vote someone off because then I would look like mafia. I just don't want us twiddling our thumbs for two days while people are get killed off. What evidence will we have when this happens?

You have a good point there CTA, but I think I will go with the flow for now. I am not going to change my vote just to get someone eliminated today. In fact I remove my vote to eliminate BigM No one else jumped on that wagon so might as well remove it.

It makes it a new game with the added twists of the godfather and the miller. You wait a day or two and not eliminate anyone and if the detective pinpoints one of these two and they show up opposite of what they really are, then we might not get the godfather or we can eliminate one of our own rather than a mafia member. With only couple hours later looks like we won't be eliminating anyone today.

I still believe in eliminating someone even if it's just random. I think it's the only way to get credible evidence about people that will be useful down the line. Otherwise, we're stuck waiting around for the detective which can be a risky proposition. Therefore, I'll go with the flow: I vote to eliminate d4nim4l | | |

With 30 minutes until the deadline, the voting is as follows:
5 votes d4nim4l
10 votes are needed to eliminate someone.
Also, just to clarify how I assign roles....past games are NOT taken into account when assigning roles. I went to random.org and had it select 4 random numbers between 1 and 18. I took those results and applied them to the signup order...and those were the mafia members. I did the same with the other special characters. The remaining people were regular innocents.
Using the reasoning that X player hasn't been mafia yet and is "due" is as flawed as betting on black on the roulette wheel because its been a red number the last 3 times. (damn you Dave for bringing up that you are in Vegas!)

He's basically telling us the mafia should stay quiet but he's talking a lot himself and why should he lend advice to the mafia?
