(Open) CF Mafia Game #3 - MAFIA WINS!

Here are a few more ground rules:

1. NO OUTSIDE COMMUNICATION OF ANY KIND IS ALLOWED BY ANY PLAYER.
2. Once you are dead, you may not post in this thread. If you are not in the game, you should also not post your theories in this thread.
3. You are not allowed to edit posts, once they are submitted. Anyone found editing entries in this thread will need to provide very convincing reasons why they should not be eliminated from the game.
4. When it is daytime, you should indicate who you want to eliminate very clearly. You MUST use the following syntax Vote to eliminate PlayerX in bold, so that I can easily determine what the votes are.
5. During the evening, you must be quiet. I will be locking the thread, but in the event I cannot, don't post. Anyone found to be posting in what is clearly a night window is liable to be severely punished and/or eliminated from the game.
6. No posting of any PM message you should receive from me. Ever.
7. If you do not vote for two consecutive days, you may die of "natural causes"

There will be a couple of small twists for this new game to keep the residents on their toes.

There will be 18 players: 3 mafia, 1 godfather (4 total mafia), 1 doctor, 1 detective, 1 miller, 2 masons, and 9 ordinary innocents.

The will be a godfather this game. The godfather will be mafia but if investigated by the detective, will show up as an innocent. The godfather will receive a special PM and will know they are the godfather.

There will also be a miller. The miller will be an innocent but if investigated by the detective, will show up as mafia. The miller will receive an ordinary innocent PM and will not know they are the miller.

There will be 2 innocent masons. The masons will receive a special PM telling them they are the mason and will also reveal the other innocent mason to them. Other than this, they are an ordinary innocent.

I will be PMing out roles this morning and we will get the game going ASAP.

To clarify a question, the masons are ordinary innocents with no special powers. Their advantage is they know the who the other mason is and can trust they are innocent.

I want to be the first one to vote, so since there are already suspicions being cast on d4, I vote to eliminate d4nim4l. Especially since he was going after me last game.

Okay, so I have to redeem myself from my shameful showing in the last game. How can you really pick out who's who in the first day anyway. It would be smart for out detective to lay low for the first day at least until they're able to investigate someone.

Agreed. I would even go as far as to say that until the Detective nails one, maybe two, Mafia s/he should stay relatively quient and definitely not reveal their role.

After one I think is smart, but two, might leave him at risk of not being protected for too long of a time. Hmmm..... or you just come clean from the very beginning hoping that your protected the whole time. Different strategies to consider I guess. Not my call though, just shedding some light on things.

How mean would it be of Cycloneworld to mess with us and put dags and chadm as mafia this game, no one wants to point the finger at them after what happened last time.
PS I know everything is random, but it would be a good trick if he really wanted to.
