One other thing I wanted to say, is that I think if you are one of the specials (detective, doctor, vigilante, masons), you should make sure that if it looks like you are going to get voted off, try to stop it by coming out. This way we won't waste a townspeople vote on you. As long as none of the ordinary innocents lie, then if two people claim to be the same thing, we know that one of them is mafia.

I like cycloneworld's suggestion of going after quiet players, and I find it interesting that nobody has jumped on the bandwagon yet. Remember the mafia is always the toughest to generate votes for. Therefore,

Another strategy is to put 2 people up for voting. The first part of the day is spent on nominating 2 suspects. Once settled, voting occurs for 1 of the 2.
Not saying this is the best strategy, just another option.
