I played MLB The Show on PS3 and didn't like it at all. The controls were confusing and in all honesty made no sense.

I have played the EA Sports MLB games and I feel they are much more fun to play.

I have MLB 2K8 for 360, and I'd say it's decent if you're a hardcore baseball fan. There are some bugs that are a bit annoying, but it's totally bearable. The controls are good, though hard at first, but worth it once you get the hang of it. 2K8 got pretty bad reviews but I like it anyways. You have to mess with the difficulty sliders to make the games realistic, otherwise you will hit way too many homers. Online play is laggy, so it's hard to play. Unfortunately it's the only baseball game for 360 this year, but I dealt with it, and ended up taking a risk that was worth it, in my opinion. You might be able to get it cheaper now if they bumped the price down, or you could always buy a used version.

I hated it the first time I played it after I bought it, but I've played it more since then and think it's a good game.
