Mafia members can vote just like everybody else. If they don't vote for two days, they are eliminated automatically, just like everybody else.

this is shortened quote. this isn't necessarily the case if what you say is true about the two mafia not knowing about each other and going against each other as well as the innocents. Luck could be on our side and each of the mafia could take out a member of the other mafia. It is a stretch but could happen. I do think we need to vote for someone though.

The reasoning of this post seems odd, especially from a person who has played this game before.

Since BigD did come in, I'm willing to change my vote. But I'm not a fan of not voting for no one.

Everyone has to vote, mafia and innocents. Mafia try to disguise themselves as innocents. If you don't vote for 2 days, you die a mysterious death.

Whee! I get to die on the first day. Guess everyone wants to be down three innocents the first day instead of two. Very well, I'll let the village screw themselves.

What can I say? I've been offline most of the day packing up. The fiancee's been here all day (actually, since Saturday), and if I go online much, I get the old, "Why aren't you paying attention to me?" bit.

If I'm going to become a victim of the mob violence, there's nothing I can do. I don't have a specialty this time to use in my defense, since I'm just an ordinary innocent. I noticed the majority just went 5-4 in my favor, so be wary of those who vote for me from this point on.

One last request. Burn me at a stake, and leave one of my arms free, so I can give all y'all the finger as you listen to my screams...

I'm on your side here man. If you can figure out a way to get some of the "No One" votes to swing to someone else, which there are some likely candidates out there, your still in the game.
