Oh NO. World of Warcraft, StarCraft 2, and now this. Damn you, Blizzard! Damn you to hell!

Deep within the heart of Iowa, a storm is brewing...
... the winds of change ripple throughout the vast fields of corn surrounding the small college town of Ames.

The Gene Chizik era of football continues, and, with it, a renewed attitude of pride, determination, and success.

This is Cyclone Football.

If I had to pick I think I may be more interested in Starcraft 2...

Re: Diablo III CONFIRMED

I never got into Starcraft. Diablo II however owned my soul for a good portion of my life. Mark it down, there is no way this game isn't one of the best ever.

And I, Bruno, will dive 1,000 feet into a block of cement. On my head, yet!

Yeah, easy to come to that conclusion if you see the gameplay trailer...

"You've seen many kinds of walls before... ice, fire, bone. But have you ever seen a wall of ZOMBIES?"

Witch doctor may be one of the best characters ever created in a videogame...

Wow, the trailers for that look incredible! When does is the release date? Is this a 2008 thing?

Re: Diablo III CONFIRMED

I don't think I've seen a release date yet, but here's hoping for '08. Now I have the urge to put Diablo II in again.

Re: Diablo III CONFIRMED

Blizzard is known for not attaching release dates to things. They do the "we'll release it when it's done". When they announced Starcraft 2 they said that and said they didn't want to be put under schedule pressure and release a game they were less than 100% happy about.

Re: Diablo III CONFIRMED

In the FAQ sections like always they are not touching a release date. As others have said that is fairly typical for Blizzard. I have a feeling it will be worth the wait

Re: Diablo III CONFIRMED

I see this as being a late 2009, mid 2010 release. No way Blizzard lets their expansion to World of Warcraft being overshadowed by a StarCraft 2 or Diablo 3 release. I can't wait, though, I'm really glad they stuck to the traditional top view camera while adding some slick 3D graphics. I honestly thought the graphics were still pre-rendered after seeing the screenshot thumbnails..

Well, considering they've scrapped the project TWICE since 2002 (and shut down Blizzard North) because they were unhappy with the game was going (said the games in-process were "not fun" or "too much like Diablo II), with that much work and this long of a wait it had better be the game of the ages.

Re: Diablo III CONFIRMED

I would agree with the late 2009-2010 prospect. WoW: Wrath of the Lich King should be late this year roughly, Starcraft 2 sometime in 2009 and Diablo sometime after that. Wow:WLK is the next big thing on Blizzard's agenda as beta testing should begin soon as signup is now.
