It is really a fun thing do to... go for it. Only problem is Senators move really slow, even slower than catapults, so it takes a long time to get it done. Easier if you have someone close to help weaken them.

When the big boys chief, they usually hit with multiple chiefs from multiple players, and then whoever wants the village takes the last hit.

That's excellent to know.

I need to make some senators (birth? build?) - I've been pretty low-key so far.

A round trip just outside your 7x7 would be 2 hrs, and you need to do it 5-7 times. So it is a full days work to chief someone, but I hear it is pretty fun. I have helped others chief, but I have not had the pleasure of chiefing on my own yet.

I was in the process of chiefing (senator actually) MrFroho's 15 cropper when the HF scum decided to wipe me out and my basement flooded the same night. Karma? Anyway, I concur, it takes a long time to A. Get the resources needed to research a senator/chief B. Get the resources needed to build it C. Travel multiple times to the target. In my case, it was a 7 hour one-way trip. Had 3 trips done when I quit.

Yeah those round trips take forever. I am going to try to chief two villages at once this week, going to probably take the better part of two days to get it done.

a 7 hour trip... Is this game free to play, because if you are paying for a subscription this is the greatest business model ever.

New one every time. But think of it this way, you save weeks of sim city by chiefing.

Hopefully I won't have to quit too. It all depends upon work. If I have to go to Turkey there is no way I can keep my account. I have 7 villages and will have an 8th in a few days. It's amazing how fast I can expand when I'm not busy replacing the thousands of troops I was losing protecting all those old villages in the old alliance.

I'd really like to, but I will be gone a TON in the next few months. Have to go to Case Western and LSU for work, amongst a bunch of other places. I feel so bad about making other people sit for me for that long.
