Ok, I played for about 4 hrs today. All I can say is WOW! This game is incredible. I am having so much fun once I learned how to move and hide. Really liking it once I got the eye patch thingy and now got the better machine gun.

Now you're just going to need to go back and play MGS1, 2, and 3 Brian.

Save us tonight, the last hope for all of us,
Light-years gone by, we're still holding on,
Save us tonight, a star shines in all of us,
Far beyond our lives, still our glory lives on.

Wow, yeah, you were dieing every 4 mins then weren't you. Bummer, I could see why you felt the way you did about it. Once you get ahold of it, then it becomes tons of fun. Think of it as Splinter Cell if you ever played that. Stealth is definately key.

I haven't got back on it, keep getting wrapped up into NCAA.

I've had the same problem. Beating LSU in the Fiesta Bowl last night seemed more important than chasing down Liquid Snake.

Well now that I got my renamed rosters, I'm into dynasty which is just going to drain every ounce of energy out of me.

Probably for the best, now that I got the hang of MG again, I may just start over for the time being. I don't want to be jumping back and forth between games.

Anyone beat it yet?

I beat it a while back. I can tell you there is a situation towards the end of the game that got me more involved in a video game than I've ever been. Kojima does such a fantastic job of sucking you into the story and using the fact that you're in control to bring you in even further, it's amazing.

Maybe I shouldn't have asked that question as that makes me want to go play it now!!!

Very cool, I really look forward to getting farther with it.

Anyone found those guide books they sell useful? I find myself just going online and using those walkthroughs instead. Saves me $20.

Ok this game keeps getting better and better. I loved putting the militia uniform on and fighting with them.

Ok, I am 5 hrs in, and I have this sneaking thing down now. So much easier.

I just met liquid for the first time, and I cannot wait to keep playing. Wife is out of town for the weekend, so I should be able to get a ways in this.

Same here, got the place to myself today, so I hope to be able to get some good gaming going on this today. Of course I have those other stupid things called responsibilities to do as well, but those can wait.

Ugh, I played way too late last night. Now I am exhausted today. But I cannot wait to put the kids to bed so I can play again :)

So how is this going for everyone? I haven't touched it in a few weeks, but am anxiously waiting for the time to pick it up again.

Wow I got a ways to go. I got just past the octopus girl thing and then got sidetracked. So now I'm just in the first stage on a harder level.
