With all the talk of Diablo III coming out, and the reminiscing about good times playing Diablo II, I decided to see what all the fuss was about and bought the game. just installed it last night and played about 30 mintues.
It seems like we have some players on here who might like to play Diablo II again. I think it would be alot of fun to get a group of CF'ers together and create a clan.
I am only a newb right now, so I am not even sure how to play online yet, but if anybody would like to play, I would be game!

I would be happy to team up with you and teach you some things. I just started a new Barbarian yesterday so he isnt too far yet. I can get you some waypoints and such though. Getting online is easy. Just go into battle.net and choose the West (which is where I am). You will have to set up an account quick though first when you get in there. Let me know about when you will be on and I will try to get on as well.

I will try to be on tonight around 9:00 or so.

I have the expansion pack, can I still play with people who don't have the expansion pack?

I have the expansion. I assume we can all play together until we get to the end of the original release, then only expansion can move on seemlessly.
I may be in at 9 as well.

I don't know whether that's true or not as the expansion (Lord of Destruction) also released a bunch of new equipment and other things monsters could drop.
I'm pretty sure you have to have the expansion to play with other expansion owners on battle.net
And I hate all of you for making me consider this
