CF Mafia Game #8 - Russian Mafia WINS!!!

There will be 3 factions this game: The innocents vs. Russian mafia vs. Italian Mafia
This game will also feature another 1 MILLION CREDIT bounty for the winning team. This game will have the same setup and the same rules as Game #6 and Game #7 (See game threads in the Gaming Forum) but will feature several different twists. New players please read the introduction and rules to the other games.

Here are the new twists:

• The game thread will only close to give me time to reveal the results of elimination voting. There will be a “night phase” just like in the past but I will not close the game thread and you may continue to discuss throughout the night. The elimination deadline is 5:30pm. At 5:30pm each night (unless I say differently), I will tally the votes, close the thread, and reveal the eliminatee’s role. I will then immediately open the thread back up. Specials have until 7:30am the next morning to PM me with their requests/votes/etc but they can PM me before then. Once I received all of the special PMs or 7:30 the next morning comes, I will reveal the results of the mafia decisions.
• These are the roles that will apply to this game:

Senior Detective – Can investigate 1 person per night and will receive detailed information (mafia faction, special character, etc.) about that person except for the godfather which will show up as an innocent.
Junior Detective - Can investigate 1 person per night and will receive vague information (innocent or mafia only) about that person.
Godfather – The “leader” of each mafia faction. If investigated they will be shown to the detective as innocent.
Doctor – Can protect 1 person per night. Note: The doctor cannot self protect this game.
Senator – An innocent whose elimination vote will count as 2 votes during the tally process. The senator will not be revealed until he is eliminated.
Martyr – At anytime during the game, the Martyr may PM me and I will reveal one mafia member to him at random. The Martyr can make one post…and one post only (so make it a good one)…in the game thread and then will be instantly killed. The Martyr is an innocent.
Mafia Snoop – There will be one Snoop in the game (not 1 per mafia group). The Snoop can PM me once per night to investigate another player. I will reveal the role of that player to him.
Mafia Recruiter – There will be one Mafia Recruiter in the game (in the opposite faction of the group with the Snoop). The Recruiter can PM me one time during the game…and one time only…with the name of a player. That player will join the mafia group and will become mafia. If the mafia selects a special character, their Special role will be randomly transferred to another in the same group. Ie. If the doctor is selected to join a mafia group, another innocent will randomly become the new doctor.
Town Council – The town council will consist of 3 members who will all know each other. This is a group of trusted innocents.

There will be no other roles besides the ones described above.

Just a reminder...if you do not vote for 2 consecutive days, you will die of natural causes. Also, no editing of posts is allowed.

CF Land has been a haven for various mafia groups in the past. The innocent residents of the community have been successful in rooting out these Mafioso at times but at other times they have not. Rumor in the community is that word has spread oversees that CF Land has successfully harbored mafia in the past. Wanting to crack the US market, residents are hearing that 2 international groups of mafia are living among them…The Russian mafia and the Italian mafia. No one knows just how many of each group of mafia are walking among them. These 2 groups are much more refined than their American counterparts and will be very difficult to rid. But the residents start today in their request to remove them and live a peaceful and crime free life.

Day 1 will be a short one and will end at 5:30pm. This is when voting will close for today and the elimination results will be announced. Because of this short day....no one will be penalized for not voting on Day 1.

I know that Southern has a little mafia in his blood with his hawk allegiance.

But I think I will atleast give him a chance to say something before I vote for him.
