Anyone else in favor of putting in a 12 hour "on the clock" limit after his pick?

I think we do need a time clock, but is 12 hrs fair enough? What if someone is gone for the day? I'd say 24 hours is fair. If they do not draft they get bumped to end of the draft or booted for the league? It looks like 2-3 other people are interested in playing too.

I think this suggestive rule will also help us get a reliable crew together for the league and games will be played more promptly.

I'm cool with that. I had first thought 24 hours, but then dropped it to 12 hours. Considering we're not going to set up the league online until the patches are out, this isn't that big of a deal.

What I will do is make the deadline 11 a.m. the next day. So for right now, Tweedt has until 11 a.m. tomorrow to get me his pick, then he drops to #12. This will happen from here on out until we have all picks.

Sound fair?

I might suggest if anyone knows that when it is close to your turn to draft and there is a chance that you might be unavailable, maybe you should send a list of your top 2-3 options to rworkman83 and let him know.

Just an idea.

I believe someone was going to do that before they left for ragbrai, but I never got anything. I can't remember who that was right now though.

d4nim4l is on the clock. I believe he was going on ragbrai. He was going to send me his top 5 before he left, but never did.

Thoughts on giving him the whole 24 hours or dropping him to #12???
