Tiger Woods 09

I just thought I would put in a note for all the sports gamers here on Tiger Woods 09. The game is great. They have added a few new courses as well as increased the difficulty.

Anyone else purchases the game?

I've heard good things about it, I've never bought a golf game and don't plan on starting now, but I've heard it's the best of the series.

And I, Bruno, will dive 1,000 feet into a block of cement. On my head, yet!

I don't remember what course I played the other night, but the fairways were easy as can be to hit, and the greens were next to impossible to put on! Regardless, I love the game!

I agree, this is the best golf video game I have ever played. Only problems are the commentary sucks and that the putting doesn't have much feel to it. Definitely worth the money. I wish they had more real equipment from the top golf brands but what they have in the game is pretty good. Also I wish they had more real golfers like Mickelson, Harrington, and Garcia. One course I wish they had in the game... Augusta National. I bet it's tough getting the license for Augusta. But anyways overall great game, go buy it.

Re: Tiger Woods 09

The last Tiger Woods game I had was '07. I am enjoying '09. But I think that it is WAYYY easier than '07. Sure it takes time to work your way through stuff, but it is still easy, just time consuming. I never played '08 so I can't compare that.
Commentary is trash - so I always have music streaming from the PC.
I love the ability to adjust draw and fade before I hit.
I love the instant feedback to show how you pulled back and forward so you can tell how well you strike the ball. Also nice to see the power level you hit - it tells you the % you hit as soon as you hit the ball.
Putting does seem to lack 'feel' as I have all of a sudden become an amazing putter, something I could not do very well in previous years. (think back to the days of Tiger Vision) I think I have a 1.1 put/ hole average after about 50 rounds.
The only other 'gripe' I have is that when you watch the CPU hit the camera adjust like 5 degrees just before they hit. It just seems annoying and I'm not sure why it does it???

Overall I give it a 8/10. And it is one of the more enjoyable Tiger games I've played.

P.S. Playing 360 version.

Was it Wolf Creek - with all the crazy changes in elevation?

There are not many crowds or places in the country that have a better impact on the game than at Iowa State. The Cyclone fans are truly a sixth man. The place is so loud and always a fantastic crowd." - Former Kansas and current North Carolina head coach Roy Williams

My dad got it the other day, he said it's good, better than '08. I haven't been over to play it yet.
