Games this weekend
What is the game you are most interested in/looking forward to watching this weekend besides ours?
I'm interested in Texas at Texas Tech. We'll probably learn a lot about both teams and September conference matchups (like ours) are always exciting because often times both teams are still fairly unknown.

Well, I guess all of us are only interested in our game this weekend, and there is nothing wrong with that at all!! GO CYCLONES!!

Re: Games this weekend
Not including our game. I'm looking forward to Arizona and Iowa. Should be a nice little test for Iowa.
There aren't many "marquee" matchups this weekend, IMO. Florida at Tennessee could be a good game.

Re: Games this weekend
It was not on my radar, but now it is: Stephen F Austin vs UNI. We want to see how much better the SFA group is per Mark Farley just before we shellack UNI the next weekend. Looking forward to CFH magic for the next bball season, Georges style. -

I was just out looking and noticed the TT is only a 3 point dog to UT. Is this easy money, or is TT better than expected? I know a lot of posters on this board think we have a shot at TT, but not many think we will hang with UT, so something here just doesn't add up.

They have let "lesser" opponents hang around well into the 2nd quarter. I think they will get better as the year goes along, but this will be a good test for them.
Many people here think that since TT is at home and they have a new coach that we stand a legit chance against them. ISU playing @ Texas, less of a chance.
I tend to agree with you, and I bet money will be going on Texas so the line will move before kick-off but this has "trap game" written all over it.

Re: Games this weekend
Nebraska at Washington. NU has kind of mailed it in so far in the 2nd half of both of their games. Might give us a little insight into just how good their defense will be this year and if Taylor Martinez is the real deal.

Their defense is licking their chops at the chance to unload on Locker. Washington is getting way too much credit for a team coming off a 5-7 season.

Re: Games this weekend
Im shocked that Neb is only a 3.5 favorite in that game. Iowa and Arizona should be interesting everywhere I have read has Arizona winning that game. Another late game that could be interesting especially if Keenum is out is Houston at UCLA

Re: Games this weekend
nebraska-washington should be a good game. they have a heisman capable QB and are below a lot of people's radar. I also think Nebraska is probably the most overhyped team in the nation. there is good reason that the experts are only giving NU a few points in this one

SFA vs UNI, Farley said this is a tough game.

Re: Games this weekend
Texas at Texas Tech - I want to see the Tommy Tuberville Texas Tech Red Raiders and how they stack up against a top-10 opponent
Nebraska at Washington - Nebraska has a lot of hype, are they for real?
Iowa at Arizona - This should be an awesome game. The late kickoff should make things interesting at the bars here Saturday night
Clemson at Auburn - How good is the Chiz's team this year? Solid test on a big stage

Notre Dame MSU...I want to see how Kelly can get his team to bounce back. Ive always been a big ND fan but BK wasnt my first choice. So far he has done ok things, I want to see how he handles a bit of adversity.

I think BK is the real deal and it might take a season or so to get them going, but probably not that long. BK is the first true college HEAD coach ND has hired since Lou Holtz and that has been the problem. Looking forward to this game.
