I have always admired Coach Izzo...probably my favorite college coach. And this situation really has NOTHING to do with him personally...but if this situation played out as it has been presented in this report, it will stain the MSU program a bit...maybe a lot.

Izzo may be wishing he had taken an NBA job this summer after all if this blows up, which I hope it does, not to punish Michigan State, but to raise a spotlight on favoritism and assault cases in general on college campuses.

If this story doesn't pick up, I will be shocked. I think this story has some merit. The girl could very well be messing with the reporters, but I highly doubt it. I think the MSU players saying two different things make it a good story for the media.

Correct. The article stated that they did not publish names due to the fact that no charges have been filed...for whatever reason!

This happened in August... I am pretty sure the player you are referring to was off the team and off of campus by then. Nice try though.
