For some reason I thought they always played the NFL games along the 3rd base line at Wrigley? I thought I saw pics of it being that way but could be wrong?
Wrigley Field once held the record for the most NFL games played in a single stadium with 365 regular season NFL games, but this record was surpassed in September 2003 by Giants Stadium in New Jersey, thanks to its dual-occupancy by the New York Giants and New York Jets
Bears used to play with the field parallel to the left field line. Not sure why they chose right field this time. Plus they've recently added several rows of high priced seats on either side of the dugouts that may have shrunk the field further. It was just a poor idea from the beginning. The field just doesn't fit anymore. Nice to see the Big 10 mess things up once in awhile rather than the Big 12 and Beebe taking all the heat.
