Nebraska bad at basketball? Nah, you don't say......They'll fit in just fine with their new conference and bring lots of pedigree.

Re: Nebraska basketball=bad
I've watched them twice this year and their guards just can't create anything from the outside. They do not shoot the ball well at all and that is why they use so many ball screens and back cuts. Their scoring has to come from close range. Now, their posts aren't too bad and they pass well to the cutters, but Almeida (think Alec Maric, except wider) will not be able to get up and down the floor on us. The biggest thing with this team is keeping them off the offensive glass and limiting your turnovers. Their guards can play decent perimeter defense and are ok in transition.
If we rebound well, press the ball make them take outside shots, we beat them.

12. Iowa State (3-0) – Not surprisingly, Diante Garrett has been the star thus far.
While DG has certainly played well, I don't think he'd be considered the "star" of any of the 3 games (JVB game 1, Jake game 2 and Scotty game 3, of course) All about the Big 12: KU's big secret - College Basketball - Rivals.com -

Did Cougill from iowa transfer to Nebraska and die his hair? I could swear I saw him play for Nebraska today.

Nobody else can win there, but he could put together consistently solid teams and NCAA appearances. That man was good.

Re: Nebraska basketball=bad
That Nebraska fan that said the Huskers won the tournament is both right and wrong. The Huskers did win the NIT one year. The Huskers are also the only Missouri Valley, Big Six, Big Eight, Big 12, and soon to be Big 10 basketball that has never won an NCAA post season basketball tournament game--not one, ever, never!

I think Fred/we will get significantly more love in the preseason votes going forward.

1. They sucked last year.
2. They lost their leading rebounder and scorer.
3. They have the worst fans in all of American basketball and weakest home court advantage.
4. Zero for all time in the big dance.
5. We have Hilton and FH.
Without even knowing who are players are it's not a stretch to pick ISU ahead of Nebraska any and every year. Big 12 coaches were morons for picking us unanimous last.

Re: Nebraska basketball=bad
They went small last year, they have more size now right?
I don't do signatures. Blondes, brunettes, and red heads are a different story. -
