Jeff Goodman of FOX Sports reports that TCU will accept an invite to the Big East.

How would you like to be Boise right now? Ouch.

So Utah and TCU leave the MWC just in time for Boise to come in?

That's brutal. They'd almost be better off staying put in the WAC.

Good pick for both parties. TCU gets AQ status, and the Big East gets a quality football program in the state of Texas. Distance seems to be the only downside.

It kind of interesting how the Big East now has two teams in different states that don't border other states with other conference rivals in them.

I guess this pretty much eliminates the talk of making the MWC a BCS league.

Bringing Nevada and Fresno with them, and adding Air Force and SDSU to the schedule. It's still an upgrade, it's not what close to what they thought though. Might not be a complete disaster. Weren't there rumors of MWC trying to add Hawaii, Houston, etc?

Who doesn't love 17 team basketball leagues? The Big East will either lose teams to the Big 10 or the non-FBS schools will break off within five years.

I don't remember. I've really lost track of all the realignment stuff.

That would make it less horrible for Boise. Not a lot less horrible, but less.

Hopefully, someone makes one of those fake Facebook pages to sum this thing up.
