The other thing he is really struggling with is getting his own shot. He hasn't been able to take guys off the dribble and get off a good shot.

Yes i do wish he was at ISU. He is not though. So i can hate on him as much as i'd like. I would much rather just hate on Roy and UNC though.

I don't blame him at all. He did what he felt was best for him at the time.

That said, he does look a little lackadaisical out there tonight. He seems to be lagging at the back of a lot of transitions. That's the biggest thing I noticed. He does have a pretty jumper, though.

When Illinois hit their shots, they can beat anyone in the country. They, like us, have no inside game though. That could really hurt them in Big 10 play.

He doesn't play hard enough. He isn't used to how hard you have to play consistently at this level, very few freshmen do, possibly none do.

D1 bball is a long ways from high school. He will get there, might take a year or so.

This just in, Illinois is good. I'm jealous of how awesome their crowd is. It's been like this year in and year out. Tisdale can finish, they have quick guards, and they can shoot.

The Big 10 might actually be fun to watch for once this year with Ohio State, MSU, and Illinois.

Barnes looks clueless in the few minutes I've watched.
