Hopefully enough people decided to sit Cam in their voting. I'd hate to see the trophy returned twice in a decade. Not so much because I care about the sanctity of the Heisman or anything, but I hate when it goes to professionals like Cam rather than actual amateur athletes.

That's where I'm at. Once the NCAA made their tacit admission of the cheating, I think Cam needs to lose this thing.

This won't happen b/c most voters saw how the NCAA cleared him of everything. My prediction is Newton wins in a landslide.
I know that if you ignore the eligibility part, Cam Newton does deserve the Heisman. I am getting kind of sick of the comments by announcers though. During the SEC championship, one of the announcers said either vote for Cam or just obstain. I guess they might as well not even invite anyone else and just make the whole ceremony about him. No one is even talking about the other guys.
At least this year the committee is inviting a full list. I remember a few years back when it was Leinhart, Bush and Young. They could at least of invited the full 5. Even if they are not going to win, at least give some others the honor of getting invited. Does this bother anyone else but me?
