    Some thoughts here:
    1) No surprise that we're at the bottom
    2) Baylor? What happened to spike that revenue? How much of that is related to their tournament run?
    3) 4 schools in the SEC at $100 million+ in revenues? 3 in the Big Ten? Wow.

How is USC only at $75,748,665?

And Iowa is nearly double us?

How we can ever compete with Iowa is beyond me.

Great job by the ISU Athletic Department getting the results from such small investment.

    Iowa should be completely ashamed.

On the bright side we will probably finish in the top 10 of the Big 12 next year.

No kidding. This really shows the quality that we have throughout our athletic department, and the poor management over in the IC.

But it surely doesn't mean that we need to step it up in contributions. Certainly not. We have all the $ we could ever want to compete

Re: 2009-2010 Grand total revenues for BCS schools

How we beat Texas is beyond me. They have a budget of almost $100 million more than ours.
“I told you, I don’t care if you’re black or white. I don’t care if you’re rich or poor. I don’t care where you come from, whether it’s Texas, Florida, California, or right here in the state of Iowa, I don’t care about any of that… But what I did care about is moving forward from that day on, that we were one team." -Paul Rhoads

Schools like: Virginia Tech, only $58 mil? Illinois at $53.5 mil? UCLA $62 mil?

No doubt, how'd you like to be Mississippi State.

I have a source in the athletic department that can confirm this rumor as fact.
