Kirk Herbstreit mentioned during the Boise State Utah game that there are rumblings in Columbus that there will be numerous suspensions handed out for the football team - including Pryor. I cannot find a link - can anybody document?

COLUMBUS, Ohio -- The Ohio State University Buckeyes' football lineup for the upcoming Sugar Bowl could take a major hit -- and, this one's not at the line of scrimmage, either.

Sources tell ABC6/FOX28 News that Ohio State officials are meeting for a second straight day to consider compliance issues involving high-profile players on the football team.

The issues could impact the players' participation in the Sugar Bowl.

Attempts to contact OSU Athletic Director Gene Smith and Head Football Coach Jim Tressel on Wednesday were unsuccessful.

One source indicates that there might be some official comment made by Thursday, including notice of possible suspensions.

My Fearless Prediction. Some players will be found guilty and suspended for the Bowl
Game. Win or Lose OSU will continue to recruit 4 & 5 star prospects and be in the top 5 of next years preseason poll, and the beat goes on.

I find it funny that Cammy Boy got 200k from AU with no consequences. Meanwhile KSU bball players got suspended for a few games because of a free shirt, and OSU because tattoos.

Yeah, the NCAA has their ducks in a row, don't they?

I get why Ohio St is going to have to suspend them, but this is beyond ridiculous.

I missed something, did they actually prove that Auburn gave Cam any money?

I've always kinda wondered how college athletes get all the money for tattoos... Look at Aaron Hernandez at Florida last year or even some of the guys on our team, they probably have $2000-5000 in tattoos. I wish I could throw that kind of money around for ink

As much as I hate the Ohio State U. This is completely stupid. Suspending kids because they scored some free tattoo's for writing there name down on a piece of paper? Freaking NCAA should be ashamed how much money they take then do this to kids.

I don't think its stupid at all. It can be a pretty nice little recruiting advantage to have 'free tattoos' associated with your program. It's not like these are little $100 tattoos eaither

What else do they have to spend their $4500 Pell Grant on? School, food and housing is all paid for what else do they need to spend their money on? I paid for my tat and other toys with my extra scholarship/pell grant money.

As far as Newton the NCAA did a half *** job even looking into it. Give me one week to perform an audit on his dads church and I'll show you how he much was paid, who he was paid by, and how they paid him.

Let's not forget about the USC player that got suspended for getting a ride on a golf cart. Seriously? The NCAA is a joke.
