NCAA automatic bids
I'm thinking it would be cool to update this thread everytime a conferce touney is won, so here we go.
UNC Ashville is the first team to punch their tickets to the big dance. Looks like they have a (19-13) record. I could see them being one of the 6 16 seeds in the tourney.

Big South: UNC Ashville (19-13) I thought Coastal Carolina would get that one. So I'm 0-for-1.
I like your idea. I thought about suggesting individual posts w/ the a****ids, with titles like "Automatic: Big South"? But probably too cumbersome ... your plan, responses would stay within one thread.

Re: NCAA automatic bids
Belmont wins the Atlantic Sun auto bid.

Re: NCAA automatic bids
I saw some of that Belmont game just now and they look pretty damn good. Granted, the Atlantic Sun isn't exactly the Big 12, but anytime you win 30 games before the NCAA tournament even starts, you're a good team. I would not want to match up against them in the first round if I'm a 4 seed.

Re: NCAA automatic bids
Belmont looks pretty good. No big wins but they played @Tennessee twice and lost by 9 and 1.
also lost @Vandy by 9.
I predict a 13 or 14 seed.

Re: NCAA automatic bids
Morehead State is coming in with 24 wins. No big wins. Lost at UNI (16pts), OSU (19), and Florida (6). They have some tourney experience from last year(were a 16 seed). Faried is a best in the paint. They only shoot 34% from 3 so getting matched up against a big team will be bad but they could make some noise.
I predict a 14, 15, 16 seed

Re: NCAA automatic bids
Two championship games going on right now:
Old Dominion is up big vs. VCU
St. Peters slowing game way down, beating 14th highest scoring team in the nation, Iona, by 6.
