I love it lol. Cowherd ain't fun to listen to when he's talking about college sports, because he doesn't know much outside of the powerhouses. But I enjoy listening to him talk about pro sports.

Re: Colin Cowherd gets the giggles
Was he laughing about belittling baseball fans, any team that is not a major power or while discussing how much more he knows about the business of sports than the simpletons who listen to his show?

It's almost as if he's reading ISU's press release of the hiring of Fred. It sounds almost identical minus the tongue lashing from Walters at the end.

If it ain't from New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, or one of the other "power" teams, it doesn't matter to him. In fact, he's of the opinion that a "small market" team should serve (and his definition of "small market" would be any city smaller than Atlanta) is as fodder for the "power" teams to improve their records with.
The guy is an elitist through and through.

Re: Colin Cowherd gets the giggles
Cowherd does show clear favoritism toward the "name teams", no doubt about that, and at times his arrogance and abrasive tone can be offputting. That being written, I do think he brings up very good points from time to time and he is clearly pretty sharp, especially compared to some of the meatheads you can find from time to time on sports radio. Listening to him crack up made me crack up.

Listening to him crack up made me crack up. Granted, and I have often used some of his arguments (for instance, the stupidity of fans bragging about how they are "better" than other fans of the team they cheer for based on how blindly loyal they are, as in, you're not a true fan unless you show up to support the team regardless of performance, even if it means cheering for a team that clearly isn't doing everything it can to win. Why should a fan show up and support that kind of team? Sometimes not showing up is better way to be a fan because then the organization isn't making money off of you so it forces change).
However, as a guy who cheers for the underdog (Iowa State, Twins, Falcons, etc.), his elitism absolutely gets on my nerves.
