Who are you rooting for? VCU or Butler?

Butler isn't cute anymore. It's like a kitten that turned into a cat. Also see Gonzaga.

Pert of me want to see Butler ger another shot. Other part wants to see VCU make it to be the first team to play 7 games in the tourney.

Tough call. VCU would be an incredible story if they won it, coming from an 11 seed. However, id love to see Butler get a second shot at a national title.

Many people forget just how close Butler came to winning last year. Right down to the half-court shot that had a chance to go in.

But yet they were right. VCU did not deserve the spot, based on its regular season performance.

They've taken the opportunity and ran with it (and good for them), but tournament performance doesnt justify placement into the tourney. What if Colorado had been in instead of them? Who's to say Colorado doesnt go on its own run?

The only thing I hate about the VCU story is that they will use it to rationalize expanding the tournament field even further.. I don't want a 128 team tournament.. but thats a topic for another thread
