presuming they are eligible. Seems a little early, but who am I to judge? Independent BYU has invitation to Armed Forces Bowl - ESPN

Similar deals are made with Army and Navy well in advance, too. Army and Navy have deals in place as far out as 2013 already. Navy: 2011 Military, 2012 Kraft, 2013 Armed Forces. Army: 2011 Kraft, 2012 Military, 2013 Poinsettia.

Is this really any different than the bowl agreements that all conferences have? I forget, But aren't they independent now?
