Chizik opening up his checkbook again

This time for NC State QB Russell Wilson. Wonder how much Chizik is willing to pay for another National Championship?

Yea, because all transfers need to get paid to come there? They just won a national title and have an opening at QB. Why wouldn't you want to start there as a QB?

Cus it's fun to have one team/person to despise and slander? Yup, sounds good to me.

As much as I despise chizik, he has the best coaching staff hands down in college football...I'm not frustrated with how he left ISU but more how he hired his hillbilly fishing buddies when he was coaching here

They lose their entire starting Oline.

He has the best offensive coordinator and boosters who are willing to pay a lot of money for their players. I'm not convinced of his d-coordinator, nor of the defense's ability to be good this year.

I'm not saying that Chizik is paying these guys, but anyone with half a brain knows that Auburn is buying players and the NCAA doesn't give a *****.

I watched a few NC State games last year. Wilson is decent, but nowhere near Newton's skill level. He's a great athlete and has tremendous arm strength, but I didn't see anything that shows me he would be a difference maker at Auburn.

Re: Chizik opening up his checkbook again

Auburn had one of those magical seasons last year where every break went their way. It didn't hurt that they had the best offensive player in college football and arguably the best defensive player.

Reality check is coming this year. They have road games at Clemson, South Carolina, LSU, Arkansas and Georgia. Not to mention Bama, Florida and MSU at home. Everybody in the SEC is going to want a piece of them. Even if they get Wilson, I don't see them being better than 9-3. Cam Newton will be impossible to replace.
