Did they redesign last year then? I know they definitely had a different logo (with the sun rays) just a year or two ago.

The one they used last season was brand new and designed to easily be switched to 12. It was pretty sharp, and actually an improvement over their old one, imo.

Don't know why the mountain west felt compelled to change, I thought they had one of the better looking conference logos.

I don't mind it, actually. They pushed the envelope a little from what we traditionally associate as a conference logo, and that is a good thing. They could have added a mountain range in there easy enough though.

The PAC-12 logo is pretty sharp...doesn't break tradition much and it should stay in style for a while. I still think of it as kind of an Olympic logo for some reason. The best part about it is that it doesn't read PAC-16.

However, "B1G" is still an epic flop in my book. Looks like they are still holding out for 16. The worst part may still be the division names.

The Big 12 needs a logo update...badly. But that doesn't mean they need to go and change the number or the roman numerals...just give it a nice clean up.

Mountain West dropped the ball big time with this change.

Pac 12 logo is nice and I like how they incorporate the wave with the mountain. Ties in the two mountain schools with the coast
