Stoops and company would have to lay a huge egg not to win the NC this year. I went with them, but could also see Stanford make a run with Luck running the show. I guess we'll find out in a couple months or so...

Lets stir the pot... ok understandable Oklahoma has the best overall team but they have holes to fill on defense Travis Lewis their leader and all american is out until October, and Austin Box LB had a tragic death earlier this summer. That's two starting linebackers out of the mix and they have to go to a much improved Florida State early in the year.

I agree, if they lose to Florida State wouldn't that be something. I think Wisconsin will sneak up on people with Wilson as their QB and the 2 RBs they have. That rushing offense is dangerous.

I look at LSU and I see too many lose-able games. Gotta take on Oregon and WVU away from Baton Rouge.

They'll have more fans than Oregon in Dallas, but I think Oregon is still a better team.

They go to Morgantown to take on a better WVU team than the one they barely beat in Death Valley last year.

If LSU wins those two games, then they've got a great case for #1. I just don't see them winning both, and would be far from shocked if they lost both.

Good points. I actually have Oklahoma losing to FSU. I think FSU is a darkhorse for the NC game and OU usually disappoints when expectations are high (relative to OU standards)

I like FSU to possibly beat Va Tech for the ACC, but not beating Oklahoma..

It is definitely NOT Oklahoma. They are overrated once again. 2 or 3 SEC teams would beat them.

Alabama all the way - as much as I hate the SEC and it pains me to say that.

Bama has a good squad, but a brand new QB... OU has a ton of guys back including a great QB with Heisman potential.... that's why they have gotten the nod IMO.
