Without looking at the tv contracts, I know it would be a huge step down in revenue. BUT, what does an extra $5-10 million really do for you in the Big XII, when you are not narrowing the gap between you and the middle of the pack? Not to mention UT, OU and OSU keep widening the gap.

I hate to say it, but we have nothing going for us in the Big XII. Minimal in-state recruiting, facilities that will always be in the bottom of the conference and a small fanbase/donor support. I'm not being pessimistic, just honest.

Plant us in the Big East, right now, and we can compete. Not just on the field but financially and facility wise, too. I think more fans would support winning 7-10 games in the Big East, than hoping to get to a bowl game 2-3 times a decade in the Big XII.

Best case for us, is not the big East. IMO, it's a "loose" conference as well. Revenue will be less.

Best case, is for big 12 to add teams - possibly some of the big east. No reason as they are not a stringly affiliated group. Big 12 has much more football identity. It needs to be proactive.

What if ISU, KU, KSU, Baylor, and Texas join the Big East. Texas would have the .same deal as ND (Independence for Football) then a conference for the other sports

The Big East is currently negotiating contracts in the realm of 17 to 18 million per school. The money would be fine with a move there.

Villanova is not moving up bc the city won't let them build a stadium off campus and they don't have room to make their current one larger

I think the loss of tv money could be supplemented by donor's and attendance money if we start having consecutive 7-10 wins.
